Grenszadel
(Border saddle) sculpture; 2005; oilcloth, fabric, metal, rope; 120x50x30cm
Grenszadel wonders about the position of the uprooted, of the expatriate, the “apatride”.
His reference point settles in the in-between, in a contact zone; the border becomes “homeland”.
Work realised for the Kunstmarrokkanen project, a travelling exhibition through The Netherlands and Morrocco.
